Stories of service

What our clients are saying

Service Builders volunteers took care of my lawn when I could no longer manage it myself. They were kind, respectful, and left my yard looking beautiful. I felt cared for and remembered.

Senior clientLawn care assistance

My front door had become difficult to close and made me feel unsafe. The team repaired it carefully, explained the work, and made sure it opened and locked properly before they left.

Who we serve

Proposed eligibility guidelines

These guidelines help us direct limited resources to neighbors with the greatest need. Final approval depends on the request, safety, funding, and available teams.

  • Has limited ability to complete or pay for the requested service
  • Lives in the home or is seeking stable local housing

Priority is given to

Applicants facing the greatest economic, social, health, or housing barriers.

  • Low-income or fixed-income households
  • People with disabilities or mobility limitations
  • Homebound, isolated, rural, or housing-unstable applicants
  • Urgent health-and-safety repairs

No applicant is charged for an approved service. Meeting these guidelines does not guarantee assistance. Service depends on verification, project scope, available funding, and volunteer or vendor capacity.
